Akio

Horns, frills and spines: Akio's creatures are some of the spikiest things we've had on the table. We first shot Akio's work at the All Japan Show in 2017, mostly as collabs with Happa, Takao Miyake, 2 Stroke and Rose Roads, and it has kept turning up since, from a horned skull rig with Rye at Explore in 2018 to a bird and a chameleon pendant with Calmbo in 2024. A handful of solo pendants have come through too, and it's all made in Japan.
